Our junior youth ministry at Christ Baptist Church runs from 15:30–17:00 on Friday afternoons. We operate during the public school term. Our goal is to lay a foundation of Jesus Christ in the hearts of young children (1 Cor 3:10–11). The programme includes Bible teaching, worship through singing, prayer, crafts, and games. We desire that many children will be saved through repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ (Lk 5:32; Jn 3:16). Both primary school (up to grade 7) and pre-school (age 2–5) children are welcome.
Our senior youth ministry at Christ Baptist Church runs from 18:30–20:00 on Friday nights. We operate during the public school term. Our goal is to train up a group of high-schoolers who are mature in Christ, living exemplary Christian lives (Col 1:28; 1 Tim 4:12). The programme includes Bible teaching, worship through singing, prayer, discussion groups and games. Our desire is for the strengthening of believers in high school that they may be rooted in Christ as they navigate life in school and beyond. In addition to our programme, we also have a time of interactive discipleship from 17:30–18:00 on Friday nights, where we look at core doctrines of the Christian faith and how they apply to our lives. We would like to welcome all youth in the church and in the neighbourhood to join us!
Giving financially to the work of the Lord is part of our worship.
