CBC Youth has kicked of this new semester!
Our program on Friday evenings looks like this:
At 6pm we all meet in the game room to enjoy fellowship and games with one another, at 7pm we move into the chapel where listern to our Youth announcements, worship the Lord in song and then in the preaching of the Word. After that we then meet in our respective small groups to discuss the sermon, ask questions and encourage one another. After which, we close the evening with fellowship over a cup of tea or coffee. Between 20:30-20:45 the Ventures are ready to drop off the youth members at home.
We would like to welcome all youth in the church and in the neighbourhood to join us!

Generations of Grace is a biblically based and God-centered Sunday school curriculum designed for children three years old through the sixth grade. Over a three-year period, this curriculum covers the Old Testament historical books, the life of Christ, and lessons from Acts and Revelation.
What Makes a Hero?
Love, Courage, Reverence, Wisdom, Humility, Righteousness, Endurance, Conviction, Sacrifice, Servanthood, Hope, Compassion, Obedience, Assurance, But most of all, Faith; which is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1
By the grace of God, Holiday Club 2013 was a tremendous blessing. We studied the lives of four great heroes centered on the unbending faith of each of these men. What we discovered was that faith is built on the promises of Christ as seen in the life of Father Abraham, faith is built on a relationship with Christ clearly illustrated by the life of the Apostle Paul, faith is the only way to Christ like Martin Luther realized, and faith is being on mission with Christ as we learn from David Livingstone.
The children had lots of fun every day with theme-related games, crafts, and Scripture memory. We praise God for the opportunity presented to us and pray that the Lord will cause the seed that was sown during these four days to grow and bring many to repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
All of us were challenged in the spirit of Joshua 1:9 to have a strong and fearless faith in our great and all-powerful God. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
A big thank you to all who volunteered supported and donated. May the Lord bless you!
And may God give us the grace to follow the example to follow these men and women of whom it is said: “They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were killed with the sword. They went about in skins of sheep and goats, destitute, afflicted, mistreated–of whom the world was not worthy–wandering about in deserts and mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. And all these, though commended through their faith, did not receive what was promised, since God had provided something better for us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect.”
To God be the glory!
