The Gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes and therefore, missions is part of the life of our church and as such Samaria Mission is a ministry of CBC. Over the past 22 years, by God’s grace, we have helped plant many churches, built over 80 church buildings and have taken over 200 short-term teams on outreaches. There are eight full-time mission families dedicated to this ministry. Members and adherents are encouraged and challenged to become involved in our mission efforts in some way as well. Initially rural South Africa was the focus of church planting but at present the Limpopo Corridor in Mozambique is the focal point of ministry.
Our aim is to help plant and grow churches to be healthy – mature, biblical churches that reflect the glory of God in Christ. This is done through evangelism, discipleship, leadership development, church nurturing and care. Teaching chronologically through the Bible has helped to lay a firm foundation to understand the gospel and has been fruitful over the years.
We desire to see these churches carrying out the truths of God’s Word and in turn sending out missionaries to neighbouring villages and even further into Africa with the Light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
